It is thanks to Sergio Ramos that Carlo Ancelotti is currently the coach of Real Madrid. The Italian looked ahead to the match against Sevilla on Friday, where Ramos is now under contract. For years, he defended the Real Madrid shirt.

Ancelotti worked with Ramos during his first tenure as the coach of Real Madrid. Now, they are facing each other. 'I look forward to seeing him again and saying hello. I have a connection with all the players I've worked with, but a bit more with him,' Ancelotti says.
'I'm here because of Sergio Ramos. If he hadn't scored in the Champions League final in 2014, Atlético Madrid would have won, probably, and I might not be here. That's why, and for everything he's done for this club, everyone has a lot of respect for him... He'll surely play well. Let's hope he doesn't score, but if he does, he can celebrate however he wants.'
Regarding his future, Ancelotti declined to answer questions. He is linked to the Brazilian national team. 'As I said, I am very happy at Real Madrid. Whether I want to renew or not? I don't talk about my future.'
