Erik ten Hag is aware of the journey that awaits him in the Premier League next season. Thursday morning, the fixture schedule was released, revealing that the manager will begin his second year with an away game at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils will kick off their season on Monday, August 14th. Wolverhampton Wanderers will visit the Theatre of Dreams. A week later, Ten Hag and Manchester United will face their first major test as they visit Tottenham Hotspur.
The fourth round also presents a challenging away game. Ten Hag and his team will visit Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. This will be followed by a series of less high-profile matches until October 28th when reigning champions Manchester City come to visit for the city derby.
December will bring the toughest month of the first half of the season. Manchester United will visit Newcastle United and Liverpool, while hosting Chelsea. Additionally, four league matches will be played during the festive month.
If Ten Hag manages to remain in contention for the league title until the final matchday, he will face a grueling end. In the last two matches, Manchester United will take on rival Arsenal before visiting Brighton & Hove Albion.
