According to The Guardian, Jadon Sancho has gotten himself into trouble with comments on X (formerly Twitter) about his current situation at Manchester United. The winger risks facing disciplinary action.
Sancho sent the message after Erik ten Hag commented on the winger's absence from the squad for the showdown against Arsenal. According to the Dutchman, Sancho was not selected based on his performance in training.
The Englishman wrote that he disagrees with Ten Hag's explanation and indicated that he has been feeling like a scapegoat for a while.
The 23-time English international used X to express his dissatisfaction. According to The Guardian, this decision will not be without consequences. Rio Ferdinand, former United defender, already stated on Sunday that he expects Sancho to have played his last match for the club and that a transfer to Saudi Arabia could potentially provide a solution for both parties.
Ten Hag is said to have received support from the United executives for his decision not to select Sancho for the Arsenal match. Last season, the Dutch manager granted Sancho time off between October and February to come back physically and mentally stronger for the second half of the season. Sancho trained in the Netherlands during that period, among other things on the recommendation of Ten Hag.
