The unique arrangements surrounding Xavi Simons continue to surface. The transfer situation involving the Dutch talent, PSV, and Paris Saint-Germain has been widely discussed, but in France, a new element has been added. PSG cannot sell Simons (20) before a certain date without the transfer fee flowing to Eindhoven.

This is reported by L'Équipe on the matchday of the Netherlands - France. The usually well-informed medium, which was also correct in the transfer case between PSV and PSG, states that there is a clause in the contract since Simons returned to Paris.
If PSG is sold before a certain date - which, according to the French newspaper, has not been reached yet - PSV will receive the transfer fee.
Simons was the standout performer for PSV last season. The Eindhoven club proudly announced that the attacker was not loaned from PSG but was signed until mid-2027. It was later revealed that the French top club had an option to recall Simons. Reports from PSV suggested it was a €12 million clause, but it ultimately turned out to be €6 million.
