Leicester City and Leeds United were relegated from the Premier League on Sunday. This means that Leicester, seven years after their surprising championship, will drop to the second tier.

"The Foxes" won 2-1 against West Ham United thanks to goals from Harvey Barnes and Wout Faes, but it wasn't enough. Their rival, Everton, also won and held onto the safe 17th position.

Leicester City caused a major surprise in 2016 when they became champions under manager Claudio Ranieri and entered the Champions League. In the following years, the club finished 12th, ninth twice, fifth twice, and eighth in the league.
