Reportedly, Simone Inzaghi now only has two coaches ahead of him in terms of salary in Serie A. The manager of Internazionale signed a new contract until mid-2025 on Tuesday.

With this new contract, Inzaghi (47) will reportedly earn five and a half million euros per year at last season's Champions League finalist, Inter Milan.

According to Tuttomercatoweb and Il Corriere dello Sport, Inzaghi now ranks as the third-highest paid coach in Italy. Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus) and José Mourinho (AS Roma) are said to earn an annual salary of seven million euros at their respective clubs.

Stefano Pioli (AC Milan) would be fourth on the list with an income of four million euros per year. Following them are Rudi Garcia (Napoli), Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta), and Maurizio Sarri (Lazio) with three million euros per year.

Inzaghi, formerly with Lazio, is in his third season as the coach of Inter. The club, which includes Denzel Dumfries, Stefan de Vrij, and Davy Klaassen, has won all three of its first Serie A matches of the new season and will face the only other club to achieve the same feat after the international break: city rivals AC Milan.
