Last week, Ihattaren was declared a free agent. The midfielder's contract with Juventus, which was supposed to run until mid-2025, was terminated.

Both parties reached an agreement to part ways, allowing the 21-year-old Dutchman to go wherever he pleased.

At that time, Ihattaren's future was still uncertain, but it is now clear that it lies in Turkey. Samsunspor has signed Ihattaren to a four-season deal with the club. The newly promoted team, who secured a ticket to the Süper Lig as champions last season, presented Ihattaren on Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday, Ihattaren will undergo his medical examination, after which he will put pen to paper on his contract. This move marks his fifth club, following stints at PSV, Juventus, Sampdoria, and Ajax.
