Erling Haaland is only 23 years old and has played just 31 matches in the Champions League. Yet, he is already in the top twenty of the tournament's all-time top scorers.

Haaland scored twice on Wednesday night in Switzerland, playing a major role in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Young Boys. These were his first European goals of this season, as the Norwegian super striker had not scored in the first two rounds. This was somewhat uncharacteristic for Haaland.
Last season, the year City won the Champions League, Haaland scored twelve times in eleven matches. He had also previously shown his scoring prowess at Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg in the elite tournament. Following his double strike on Wednesday, Haaland has stormed into the top twenty all-time Champions League top scorers, now boasting 37 goals in the tournament.
However, Haaland still has a long way to go for the record: Mr. Champions League Cristiano Ronaldo has an impressive 103 goals more. But of course, Haaland has plenty of time on his side.
