Granada leaves Israeli forward at home for away match on police advice

Granada forward Shon Weissman, due to safety concerns, will not travel with his teammates for the away match against Osasuna, as decided by the club and player. The player from Israel recently posted several messages about the war between Hamas and Israel, which were not well-received by some.

Weissman has made appearances in two matches for Granada this season, but he will not travel to Pamplona for the away match against Osasuna in matchday 10 of La Liga

Granada has learned from sources outside the club and from local police in Pamplona that Weissman's posts have stirred significant hostility among hooligan groups, including those of Osasuna. As a result, Granada was advised not to bring Weissman to the league match.

Weissman has since removed his posts, in which he supported Israel's counterattack on the Gaza Strip. He did, however, join training at Granada, as coach Paco López believed it served as a release for Weissman. Granada has not announced if Weissman will miss more matches this season due to this situation.
