Daley Blind secured a win with Girona on Saturday afternoon during their visit to Osasuna. The Catalans fell behind after a mistake by the Dutchman, but ultimately, they still managed to win.

Girona has had a fantastic start to the season and going into the twelfth round of matches, the team coached by Míchel had as many points as league leader Real Madrid. Thanks to a goal from Iván Martín, they took the lead at Estadio El Sadar after just over a quarter of an hour.
However, Ante Budimir gave the home team reason to cheer twice. The Croatian striker equalized in the 25th minute and ten minutes after the break, he headed Osasuna into the lead. Blind (shown in archive image) gave Budimir a bit too much freedom there.
However, Girona showed resilience as in the 71st minute, Artem Dovbyk equalized the score. It was already the Ukrainian striker's sixth goal of the season in La Liga. Nine minutes later, it was time for another celebration, and this time it was Dovbyk's compatriot Viktor Tsygankov who scored. The former PSV target had come on as a substitute in the seventieth minute.
The victory was sealed when Aleix García made it 2-4 in added time. It marked Girona's tenth win of the season in league play.
