"Frenkie has trained at full strength. He feels very good and is ready to play," coach Xavi announced in a press conference on Friday. "We have felt his absence; he is a very important player."

Due to his injury, De Jong missed several matches, including El Clásico, which Barcelona lost, and four matches of the Dutch national team.

Marc-André ter Stegen will not be available on Saturday. The 31-year-old goalkeeper is still recovering from a back injury, which also caused him to miss the friendly internationals of Germany. His place in goal will be taken by Iñaki Peña.

After thirteen rounds in La Liga, Barcelona holds the third position, four points behind the surprising leader Girona.
