Paris Saint-Germain has completed the signing of Désiré Doué. The nineteen-year-old talent joins from Stade Rennes and is the first attacking reinforcement for the French champions.

However, according to French media, the 19-year-old opted for a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) last week, a decision that highlights PSG's continued appeal to rising stars. Following his decision, PSG had to negotiate terms with his former club, Stade Rennes, which took some time to finalize. With the agreement now secured, Doué has officially signed a five-year contract with the French champions. This long-term deal reflects PSG’s confidence in Doué’s ability to contribute significantly to the team’s future success. Reportedly, the transfer fee, including bonuses, amounts to over fifty million euros, making it a significant investment for PSG in their quest to maintain their dominance in French football and to compete at the highest level in Europe.
Doué is highly regarded in France as one of the most promising young talents. The French youth international, who has Ivorian roots, had a breakthrough season with Rennes last year. He made a strong impression in Ligue 1, scoring four goals and providing five assists, which showcased his ability to make a decisive impact in games. His performances did not go unnoticed, and he was subsequently called up by Thierry Henry to join the French squad for the Paris Olympics.
