Christian Eriksen will soon welcome fellow countryman Rasmus Højlund to Manchester United. The Danish forward from Atalanta Bergamo is on his way, and Eriksen already introduced the striker after the friendly match against Borussia Dortmund, which United lost 3-2.

After securing signings such as Mason Mount and Andre Onana, Rasmus Højlund is now also heading to United, although the clubs have yet to officially confirm the transfer. The forward will become the most expensive Danish player ever, with a transfer fee of seventy million euros. Eriksen is highly impressed with Højlund's recent development.
"He is a strong striker," said the midfielder to the press agency PA. "He has progressed immensely over the past year. A lot has changed since I first met him with the national team. He's truly a good player and a nice guy as well."
Eriksen also mentioned that they haven't recently discussed United with Højlund. "When we were last together with the national team, we did talk about it. I said a lot of good things, also some bad things. Now, it's all happening," Eriksen referred to the imminent arrival of the striker.
