A dream transfer for Micky van de Ven is in sight: Tottenham Hotspur and VfL Wolfsburg are in full conversation about a transfer of the defender. The clubs hope to finalize the deal quickly.

Van de Ven didn't make a secret of his dream destination being the Premier League in conversation with VI. He seems to be getting his wish now.
Van de Ven has reached a personal agreement with Tottenham, and it's now up to the clubs to finalize the deal, as reported by various English media outlets. Recently, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have also been linked with Van de Ven.
In the summer of 2021, Van de Ven made a transfer from Volendam to Wolfsburg for approximately 3.5 million euros. He had the option to join PSV and Feyenoord, but chose the Bundesliga. Van de Ven experienced some initial difficulties due to injuries but quickly became a regular starter, missing only one league match last season.
If Van de Ven indeed makes the move to Tottenham, Volendam will also benefit. The club will receive fifteen percent of the transfer fee.
