Benjamin Pavard has secured his transfer. The French defender is allowed to move from Bayern Munich to Internazionale.
This is reported by Italian and German media. Bayern had almost finalized the transfer fee with Inter, but kept Pavard in Munich because the club first wants to sign a replacement.
Despite the fact that as far as is known, that replacement has not been secured yet, Pavard has been informed that he can make the move to Inter. The transfer involves an amount of thirty million euros, excluding bonuses.
In the search for a successor for Pavard, various names are being considered. Bayern is considering Trevoh Chalobah (Chelsea), Pierre Kalulu (AC Milan), Armel Bella-Kotchap (Southampton), and Lutsharel Geertruida (Feyenoord), as reported by VI on Monday. Bayern will have to hurry in any case, as the transfer market closes in just over two days.
