However, it will be an away game for Der Rekordmeister, as the Bavarian team will visit Werder Bremen on Friday, August 18th.

It was incredibly close for Borussia Dortmund to break Bayern's dominance, but on the final day, they narrowly missed out with a 2-2 draw against 1. FSV Mainz 05. The quest for redemption begins for Dortmund, without Jude Bellingham, in the home match against 1. FC Köln.
The Dutch players of Bayer Leverkusen face a tough task right from the start in the home match against RB Leipzig, which is once again equipped with some gems from its partner club, Red Bull Salzburg.
Micky van de Ven kicks off the season with VfL Wolfsburg against the promoted side 1. FC Heidenheim, although it remains uncertain whether the center-back will still be active in the Bundesliga by then. There is significant interest in the young Dutch international from Jong Oranje.
The German league concludes on May 18th, with title favorites Bayern Munich (against 1899 Hoffenheim) and Dortmund (against SV Darmstadt) facing relatively smaller clubs. The two German powerhouses will meet each other in matchday 10 and 27 of the competition.
