Milos Kerkez could continue his career in the Premier League. AFC Bournemouth is in the best position to acquire the left-back from AZ. The English club aims to swiftly finalize the deal, hoping to outmaneuver Lazio, who is also interested.

The likelihood of Kerkez remaining an AZ player after August 31st is decreasing.
In addition to Bournemouth and Lazio, Benfica also showed interest in the left-back for a long time. However, the Portuguese club ultimately chose David Jurasek, leaving Bournemouth and Lazio still in contention.
The nineteen-year-old defender made the switch from AC Milan's youth team to AZ in January 2022 for a fee of over one million euros. Under coach Pascal Jansen, the youngster played 33 matches in the Eredivisie. He also made eleven appearances in the Conference League, where AZ reached the semi-finals last season.
At AZ, Kerkez took over from Owen Wijndal, who moved to Ajax for ten million euros. Prior to his time in Alkmaar, Kerkez, as mentioned, played for Milan and was under contract with FC Gyor, Hódmez, and Rapid Wien.
