At Juventus, it's win or pack your bags

Earlier this week, Juventus celebrated to commemorate the fact that the Agnelli family has been involved with the Italian record champion for a hundred years. Edgar Davids, who provided some spicy remarks, also had a spot on the impressive guest list.

The guest list was extensive for the Agnelli's party, of whom Andrea is the latest member to gain a significant voice at the administrative level. In attendance were, among others, Alessandro Del Piero, Zinédine Zidane, Michel Platini, Antonio Conte, and, of course, Davids. The Amsterdam pitbull even took the floor briefly and spared no one.

"Our Juventus was a family. The strength has always been the team, and they need to become that again now. It's better if there are one or two guys who can make a difference, but it shouldn't depend on that. The players who enable them to do so, they are important," warned Davids.

"It's important that everyone understands that playing for Juventus means you have to win. And if you can't do that, you should pack your bags," followed a foreboding message. Davids was having a good time, as reported by Tuttosport: "It feels like family here. It's nice to be back here after all these years, and it's important to remember that this event is organized for charity."

Davids played for Juventus between 1998 and 2004. With La Vecchia Signora, the midfielder reached the final of the Champions League in 2003, in which AC Milan, with Clarence Seedorf, won on penalties. In 1998, 2002, and 2003, Davids became a champion with Juventus.
