AC Milan wants to sell Belgian forward after just one season

Charles De Ketelaere appears to be definitively on his way out of AC Milan. According to Tuttosport, following the departure of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara from the Milanese club, there is no longer any confidence in De Ketelaere.

Maldini and Massara were the two individuals behind the scenes at AC Milan last summer who were most convinced of De Ketelaere's qualities, leading the Rossoneri to transfer 35 million euros to Club Brugge for the Belgian.

In his first season at Milan, De Ketelaere played 32 Serie A matches but had very little impact. The winger managed only one assist. Now that Maldini and Massara have departed from AC Milan, the club management does not anticipate a positive turnaround for the Belgian.

To limit the loss on De Ketelaere, AC Milan hopes to secure a transfer fee of 28 million euros for the Belgian talent. Several media outlets report that there is interest from the Premier League to acquire De Ketelaere.
